INDUSTRIAL SCREENING
PRE-TENSIONED SCREENS
Most industrial screening separations are in the range of 0.125” down through 40um. Many models of process equipment require screens that are pre-tensioned on a frame. Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) of round and square sifters, rotating screeners and some vibrating screens require the screening media to be pre-tensioned prior to installation.
W.S. TYLER® has a new, State of the Art manufacturing cell, allowing for the production of
pre-tensioned screens for material processing for most OEM screening designs. Capabilities include the tensioning of woven wire mesh from 16” to 72” round and square frame screens. Frames can be screened beginning at 4 mesh 0.050” wire diameter, down through 500 mesh, 0.0010” wire diameter.
Drawing from a inventory of industrial grade stainless steel wire mesh, tensile bolting cloth and market grade and ASTM E11 test sieve cloth, we are able to re-screen customer supplied frames and OEM replacement screens.

HAVER ULTRASONIC SCREENING SYSTEMS
In addition to our pre-tensioned screen products, W.S. Tyler offers technology for fine, hard to screen particles. The Haver Ultrasonic System is adaptable to pre-tensioned frames providing increased. throughput and sieving efficency. This unique frequency variation technology will increase productivity and profitability in the most challenging screening applications.
How does Ultrasonic Screening work?
The energy source (generator) converts electrical energy into high frequency pulses, which is then converted to a mechanical action (sound waves).
The sound waves create an oscillation in the screen frame at high frequencies. These oscillations are transferred to screening cloth where they are evenly distributed across the entire surface.
The oscillations of the screening cloth will reduce frictional resistance between material and screening media. A reduction in blinding results in increased throughput and efficiencies.
