Test sieving technology was pioneered by W.S. Tyler beginning in the early 1900s. The Tyler Screen Scale Sieve Series is the foundation that international standards are based on. The
W.S. Tyler Ro-Tap®, introduced in 1919, remains the most recognized and used sieve shaker in the world.
At the same time, Haver & Boecker was establishing itself as a leader in woven wire technology in Oelde, Germany. In 1958 Haver & Boecker and W.S. Tyler established a working relationship, which lead to W.S. Tyler becoming a member of the Haver Group in 1996.
