WIRE MESH FILTERS - EXTRUDER SCREENS
The advantages of the wire mesh filters that W.S. TYLER produces are many. They are remarkably durable, being made out of stainless steel and other alloys that can hold up to multiple environments and uses. They are also sometimes reusable, needing only to be back flushed with a suitable cleaning agent to remove any materials that have been captured by the filters.
W.S. Tyler produces filters that range in precision from 1 micron to up to 200 microns. W.S. Tyler produces custom filters and can work with clients at every step of the process, from the design to the fabrication, from the service to consultations on the filter itself. Our filters are oftentimes used in prototype production and for small production facilities.

W.S. Tyler can engineer, fabricate, sell and service materials made out of Porostar Filtration Media. We have an alliance with Haver & Boecker of Oelde, Germany and can offer this quality material to our clients.
Custom-Designed Fabrications

Extruder Screen Products
W.S. Tyler produces wire cloth extruder screens. These are used in the plastic melt filtration process and
are of the highest quality. W.S. Tyler produces theses screen packs primarily in kidney shapes. We can also produce them in various configurations, including options for single and multi-layer designs, rim bound and raw edge filters.
W.S. Tyler utilizes a variety of different weaves to create exactly the filter required for the job. Our design and fabrication is done onsite and allows us to address any needs that our customers may have. We can supply filters in several different weaves, including Dutch Twilled (DTW), Broad Mesh Twilled (BWT), Single Dutch Weave (SDW), and Reverse and Twilled Reverse Weave.
