W.S. Tyler offers a full range of Laboratory Services, including Test Sieve Certification and Recertification and our Exclusive Corporate Calibration Program. All laboratory services are directly traceable to NIST.

 

W.S. Tyler’s Certification and Recertification processes ensure that all Test Sieves comply with current ASTM E-11 specifications. Test Sieves are serialized and supplied with very detailed documents, including specific statistical information on opening sizes and wire diameters. These processes are performed with a state-of-the-art video-imaging machine, which is accurate to ± .5 microns. The video imaging equipment is capable of and generally measures more openings than standard industry specifications call out, therefore providing more statistically accurate data. 

 

Our Corporate Calibration Program, exclusive to W.S. Tyler, allows you to outsource your Test Sieve calibration requirements to our in-house laboratories. An exclusive customer-owned Master Set of Test Sieves is created and maintained in our laboratory. The set is certified and completely traceable to NIST. All future new Test Sieve requirements will be performance matched/calibrated to your exclusive Master Series to a performance tolerance of ± 2.5%. 

 

W.S. Tyler’s laboratory services are ideal for organizations that have multiple production facilities where particle size analysis uniformity is critical. They are also designed for organizations with high volume Test Sieving environments and organizations involved with ISO or other quality management systems. W.S.
