MINIMESH WOVEN METAL FILTER CLOTH
W.S. Tyler Minimesh is a micronic grade woven wire mesh used for a variety of applications including filtration, noise attenuation and particle retention in chemical processing equipment.
Minimesh Weaves
SPW Single Plain Dutch Weave
- Easy-to-clean filter cloth with a good flow rate.
- Warp wires are relatively thick and spaced far apart. Shoot wires are considerably thinner and woven tightly in a single layer.
DTW Dutch Twilled Weave
- Has twice the number of shoot wires as compared to plain weave for lower micron retention.
BMT & BMT ZZ Broad Mesh Twilled Weaves
- Weave is similar to DTW, but cloth is not “light-tight”.
- Shoot wires are not woven as tight as DTW weave. Micron retention is not as regular but the flow rate is higher.
- BMT ZZ (zig zag) offers improved weave consistency.
HIFLO High Flow Filter Weave
- Very thin shoot wires laid in “linen” weave increases free flow cross section.
RPD Reverse Plain Dutch Weave
- Woven in reverse manner to the SPW. Resulting in the strongest filter weave.
- RPD is easy to clean, has excellent flow rate and high dirt holding capacity.
TRD Twilled Reverse Dutch Weave
- Same Design as RPD, although shoot wires are woven in a twilled pattern.
- Has good flow rate and fairly low pressure drop, but does not have as consistent micron retention as RPD.
